Meet Your Board Members

All members of the Rama Police Board are proud members of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, bringing their lived experience, professional expertise, and community commitment to the governance of policing in Rama. 

Sparrow Rose – Chair

 

Sparrow Rose committed to the Rama Police Services Board in 2019 and currently serves as Chair. She is also the Director of Human Resources at Dnaagdawenmag Binnoojiiyag Child & Family Services and brings more than 25 years of HR experience at both Indigenous and mainstream organizations, including Casino Rama Resort, Chippewas of Rama First Nation, and Wilfrid Laurier University. Sparrow is designated as a Certified Human Resources Leader and is dedicated to a values-driven approach to decision making centered on the safety and well-being of the community she serves.

Ryan Stiles – Vice-Chair

 

Ryan Stiles is Vice-Chair of the Rama Police Services Board, and has been a member since 2022. Ryan practices law with Falls Law, specializing in criminal defence, family and child protection, and Indigenous legal issues. Before joining Falls Law, he managed the Biidaaban Restorative Justice and Community Healing Program, experience that continues to inform his commitment to restorative and community-based approaches to justice. Ryan’s legal expertise and dedication to transparent governance provide important guidance for policing in Rama.

Brittany Williams – Member


Brittany Williams is the Child & Family Well-Being Supervisor for the Chippewas of Rama First Nation and a member of the Rama Police Services Board since April 2023. She is widely recognized for her dedication to children, and families, and her work has been honored through  numerous accolades, including the Mnobmaadzimwin Award, which recognized her for exemplifying the Seven Grandfather Teachings and her contributions to community wellbeing. Brittany’s insight into community wellness, family advocacy, and culturally grounded approaches brings an essential perspective to the Board.

Evan Miller – Member

 

Evan Miller joined the Rama Police Services Board in 2023. He is Manager of the Rama Country Market and a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. Evan manages the Market’s day to day operations, vendor partnerships, and customer service, ensuring the business remains a cornerstone of the community. He contributes business management expertise and a strong service-oriented perspective to the Board’s work in supporting safety and well-being for Rama residents.

Mary-Anne Willsey – Member


Mary-Anne Willsey joined the Rama Police Services Board in 2024. She is Director of Business Operations for the Chippewas of Rama First Nation and oversees a diverse portfolio of community-owned businesses that create employment opportunities and generate own-source revenues to support youth, elders, and cultural programs. Drawing on her leadership background in gaming, retail, and hospitality, Mary-Anne brings a focus on sustainability and long-term community development to her role on the Board.
