The Rama Police Service would like to inform the community of an increased police presence at our detachment earlier this evening around the Tree of Hope event. Rama Police Service top priority is the safety of the community, all matters were appropriately addressed, and there is no ongoing risk to... public safety.

We thank the community for their patience and understanding as officers managed the situation. We are currently finalizing new details regarding the rescheduling of the Tree of Hope ceremony event.
